I have the honour of being slung off the site, my few reviews removed and my login revoked. I don't know why but they objected to me slagging the site off in a "review"! I had another login with an...
Same for me, I hadn't kept My Pubs up to date so now it is blank I see no reason to ever use the site again. I'm now certain it's damaged beyond reprieve and will only take a look at it to laugh at...
This all seems to have come to a head :-

It's a shame really as I'm sure he was capable of reasonable reviews and probably did some prior to...
When I read his reviews a lesser known Led Zeppelin track comes into my head just before I start nodding off. It's on Led Zeppelin II and is titled Ramble On.
Shurely not the owner of BITE or someone connected with it???
So Farcebook can slap you down for commenting on something as trivial as the demise of the Dark Side but can't stop ISIS terrorists or supporters posting all sorts of horrific stuff and Russians...
I must be going senile, I missed that gag!
It's now over two full calendar months since the post saying Not Long Now before logins were allowed. I reckon it has actually bitten the dust and even if it returns will be damaged beyond reprieve.
Total rubbish I would say. It's been down for well over a month now although a few token reviews have been added. I checked a few recently opened JDWs I've been to and the only one that appears is...
Maybe they do read this, after yesterday's posts a comment has been added
How long is long?
Logging in is still "briefly unavailable", a message dated 24th September, a week ago. The last review was on the 19th of September so come Tuesday it will have been down a fortnight.
Thanks for that, I think I get the general idea.
Do you think they would be doing something to prevent those spurious adverts that appear as reviews?
Is there a reason (preferably in straightforward terms) why they don't happen here?
Nearly every time I go to look at it there are pubs with those gobbledegook advertising posts.
Has anyone else noticed that Lester Ford the recent reviewer on here is almost certainly Lezford from the Dark Side. If Mr Ford is reading this welcome to the light (and don't take too seriously...
Sadly about a classic old K & B house that I remember well but haven't been back to since the shareholders sold out :-

Agreed!
I've had a closer look at those two posts and I reckon they are fake. The grammar and spelling are a bit too good apart from the fact there are huge sentences all joined with "and"s. I reckon it's...
I prefer this, it has far more implied information than the other two. Who could possibly be interested in who served you and what table you sat at but it's really down to your own choice.
If...
It's only this or similar stuff and possibly Blue Scrumpy & Snarling Mallard contributions that make the site worth visiting!!
That doesn't surprise me at all. Of course the Dark Side also includes some of the slanging matches the most recent one I've seen being Slerpy vs the rest of the world.
For those not brave or daft enough to venture onto the Dark Side he's been back for around a month now. Using the heavily disguised name Paul36 it's the same old haunts, Slough, Windsor & Maidenhead...
Would you prefer Arsenal Fan? I can't disregard all of his posts and I regarded it as a real result when he highly rated the Liverpool Lime Kiln Spoons.
After something of a frenzy of activity over the last week AF36 seems to have stopped or been stopped posting and all the aggro surrounding him has been removed. I noticed some of the names involved...
Good Point!
There is another character on the Dark Side called HoppyAl who regularly updates his opinion on the beer choice and quality of mainly the three Sutton Spoons. I actually find this quite...
