And another...https://www.thedrinksbusiness.com/2024/02/elland-brewery-faces-closure/ I thought I'd tried their 1872 Porter, but apparently not.
I visited the Old Dairy Taproom today, coincidentaly just after the brew kit left for its new home, not a million miles away. All beers are now contract brewed elsewhere, which rather begs the...

That's sad news.Didn't see much cask from them, but I remember enjoying Happiness Patrol a few years back. Also some intriguing bottles/cans.
Sad, but Hophead hasn't sparkled recently.
That's a shame-I certainly enjoyed their beer about ten years ago.The only time I tend to see them are at The Chequers Inn, where I've usually swerved them in favour of Brown Cow beers, but I think...
Wondered what had happened to Brumaison. Never got to try Constellation.

Not particularily.
Hope Jennings don't go down the plug-always had a soft spot there.
Only tried this brewery once, ten years ago, when I damned HPA with faint praise, calling it one dimensional.
You are probably right, as I only gleaned this info from a fellow scribe on a beer/pub rating site, who gained it from the Guv of a pub over in East Kent.Glad something salubrious is happening in the...
I've heard that Rockin Robin Brewery of Boughton Monchelsea has ceased brewing. Didn't often come across their beer, but liked it when I did.
Yep. Can't remember what it was called though and as it was bottled I didn't make notes.
Had one good 'un,and one "sour". By 'eck it was:couldn't finish it.
That's a shame.
Looking in the back of the GBG, there are hundreds I've never heard of and will never see. Without guaranteed routes to market they're going to find it very difficult in the years to come. Also, no...
Will's review of The Station Inn reminded me that Copper Dragon has endured a rocky ride of late-Google seems confused, and the GBG doesn't list them. The admittedly southern focussed beer rating...
