What a shame, we went to the Sair Inn (pronounced Sire) to try the beers many years ago, Linfit being the local name for Linthwaite.
It really is in the middle of nowhere.
Beer Nouveau in Manchester have announced they are closing.
The brewery and taproom are now up for sale.

Great Heck, along with their wholesale business went bust on Saturday.
This is a real bummer as I liked Denzil and I used them to supply The Pint Pot & Vicolo del Vino in Rochdale.

I'm not sure Upham used ANY hops. I've had a few of theirs and they've all been unmemorable.:(
They used to be very poor, but had improved a lot lately under new ownership.
History is a big burden to carry and still survive though. :(
Another bunch of average to poor brewers gone to the wall.
Wharfebank have ceased brewing at Pool-In-Wharfedale.
Rumour is that they may continue to cuckoo brew elsewhere.
I don't think I've had a beer of theirs that I thought was really good anyway.
