I just had time to pop into the Sun Hotel before getting the bus to the Cardigan Arms.
Done, thanks.
All done, many thanks.
Done, thanks.
Sadly at one time I was the local branch, “estat, Cest moi !”
Not imitation just recycling, I used my old reviews from PuG & BITE when I set up the branch’s WhatPub, some have been replaced others need doing.
As you’re still unable or unwilling to address the basic point I’m certainly not going to waste my time on here or anywhere else on this any longer. Feel free to have the last word, I know you like...
Avoiding the point again!
You can huff and puff as much as you like but you’ll never convince me that it’s acceptable to moan about a pub over the actions of third parties. It’s an odd belief to...
That's a rubbish page too, I've dumped the FB.
Rather than straw men and specious arguments the point remains that Rob Hunter was brassed off by an error in opening hours published by third parties not the pub, so it seems a bit off to whinge...
Drivel remains drivel regardless of who writes it and that includes me and even you.
I might have had some sympathy if the pub had advertised its opening hours and then not met them - not the case...
The number of reviews someone has posted really doesn't have any bearing on whither or not a review is pointless drivel.
This one is pointless and adds zero to this site, moan at WhatPub, Google...
I've deleted the obsolete "official site" but as the FB page is about the pub I've left it in spite of where their website link points. Thanks.
Edit, I looked more fully at the FB page and it's...
Probably depends where you are and the type of pub, some of the pub themed restaurants still take it very seriously; lots of drinking pubs don't.
Agreed, I recently caught Covid, almost...
Boar & Fable
The latest review is basically a moan about Google and What Pub showing the wrong opening hours.
Incidentally both have been updated and What Pub at least carries a caveat about...
Kinell, I've just managed to drag myself to 102 for the whole year. :notworthy:
£5 for a Brew York Tonkoko (the ordinary 4.3% one) in the York Tap last Friday. It is a place that has suffered a loss of reputation lately.
Yes weird, I've added (at Candy) which hopefully makes things clearer, thanks.
Does David Cameron drink there? Name updated thanks.
I've gone with The Mermaid Bar (Wishing Well), it makes sense I suppose as the gin is called Mermaid, thanks.
Looks like an odd one, the Greene King link has been removed, thanks.
Done, thanks.
Sorted out, thanks.
Both done, many thanks.
I'll see your Duke of Wellington and raise you a Duke of York.
Home Marylebone is done too, thanks.
