I certainly am, but back to the land of rain and warm beer Friday.
Thats a long old list now TP.
Corfu Beer Contessa IPA 6.2%
It's f*****g brilliant.
If bottles are allowed on this thread then Brewdog Elvis Juice is very good, not as yet tried it in any other form.
Three for the F*****g Brilliant
Weird Beard Five O Clock Shadow 7.0% , Siren Pompelmocello 6.0% and Siren Tidal Wave 10.0% a collaboration with Magic Rock and Beavertown.
I'm sure TP will agree. ...
BAD!!!
McEwans (Charles Wells) IPA 4.0%, absoloute crap, tasted like Youngers Tartan from back in the day, why do they turn this rubbish out, not an IPA.
Oakham Dreamcatcher 6.9% is good.
Another one pretending to be what it clearly isn't, Brentwood IPA 3.7%, the breweries description here states its a lightly hopped pale session bitter. It's not a bloody IPA,and didn't in any way...
Arundle Sussex IPA 4.5%, the brewery write up calls it a traditional pale ale, well it's brown and malty and not to my mind anywhere near an IPA, a perfectly drinkable, though unremarkable brown...
To add to the good,
Five Towns Niamh's Nemisis 5.7%
Bluestone Brewery Hammer Stone IPA 4.5% ( this was average, but not bad, so hence good)?
Also I tried yesterday Siren Craft Counting Vampires...
I also have to add Siren Craft Brew - Counting Vampires 6.1% (keg)
A Blackberry !PA, Its F*****g brilliant, although rather expensive.
And another Hop Art Golden IPA 4.5% , the cask version is a...
Had a very pleasant and "good" Trumans Gunboat Smith 5.2%, a black IPA although I am struggling to differntiate between this and a Porter.
A bargain at £4.00 a pint.
Forgot to add this one tried last weekend, Hammerton Baron H, a 5.8% black IPA infused with Earl Grey, despite that its good.
Southwark - Imperial IPA 5.7%, using English hops, its good.
And another two to add to the good(very good)
Wylam Jakehead IPA 6.3%
and bizarrely Greene King New Horizons IPA 6.0% (really very good)
Hopcraft Devilfish Ink, a black IPA at 5.8%, Its good.
Wild Beer Co - Bibble, described as a session IPA and only 4.2% it had plenty of flavour, brewed with Vienna malt and Oats along with Mosaic hops, despite its low strength for an IPA it was good.
Bowman's Sava, 6.5%, 100% Simcoe hops, peach and pine flavours, very (dangerously) drinkable for its strength and most definitely one for the good.
Bowman's, a brewery I was initially keen on, but...
Sorry TP, some editing required, the name of the above beer should be, Plain Ales - India Plain Ale as I originally stated, I am blaming my locals chalk board, but it is possible there was some...
Another for the good I have just remembered (although I only drank it yesterday!!)
Brick - Blenheim Black IPA 5.1% , a very tasty black IPA.
Its already in A&H's F*****g Brilliant.
Plain Ales - India Pale Ale 5.2%, imaginatively named and maybe a little sweet for me, but good.
I can.
Lagunitas IPA 6.2%
its keg but F*****g Brilliant.
