I suspect one night might be fun but some will be getting pretty bored by now...
Off to Hull for a long weekend from Saturday. Probably sticking around the marina and old town to begin, then Beverley Sunday. Make Monday up as I go along...
Wouldn't mind a trip to Hop & Vine to...
I wasn't sure if it was on as no pump clip visible. Perhaps temporarily off...
No cask so it's now the Thomas Sheraton Wethers.
The Sun Inn, Stockton-on-Tees.
Hops and cheese in hartlepool. Is there a better combination? Previously at Rat Race of course!
Twisted Lip, Middlesbrough. Thankfully free of Christmas idiots...
Dubliners. Thornaby.
The Library, Durham. Basking in the glory of our Grand Final appearance in seven days, after battling relegation for years.
Golden Smog, Stockton-on-Tees. Would be having a quiet night but long weekend trip to Aberystwyth cancelled due to not expecting to be able to get back after the weekend rain, wind, annual high tides.
Dubliners again, one blonde ale on but its fine in this weather and better than three faded ones. Pennine Ales - Hair of the Dog
The Dubliners, next to Thornaby station. And it's a pretty good pint. Boring and brown, but alright..
Furley & Co, Hull. First trip back since randomly seeing your meet up here as I awaited a Smiths tribute act.
The George and Dragon in Yarm. I wonder, given there's a similarly named one in Hudswell and Norton, how many pubs of the same name could be visited in one day. No Moon Under Water permitted and...
The Pennyweight in Darlo. Goldilocks temperature, adequate beer to the right, fairground music to the left... why move.
Thanks gents! Shall I admit I took the taxi there... The walk back was decent to consider the Steak and Kidney pie I'd just had. Via Holly hill inn. Tried the 29 tap house but way too hot - "leaving...
Richmond Wetherspoons. Another half an hour and it'll be the George & Dragon in Hudswell...
Preston greyfriars Wethers. Had a good crawl around Lytham yesterday, a good shout for the next northern crawl. It's a town to make anyone feel young..
Head of Steam, Sheffield. Great pint of Hopper in the sun but not sure who it's by...
I saw no sight of the Thai food unfortunately. Had to make do with a half pint of peanuts in the Dun Cow in Sunderland!
Wylam, The Boathouse. Yorkshire beer festival on and apparently Thai food at lunch... Which I'll find out shortly.
Roper Hall, Preston. All craft £3 a pint so I fancied a Divide & Conquer black IPA at 6.5%. Some blogger somewhere will be complaining about beer below cost...
Once again in the Moorbrook Tavern, Preston with Blackjack-Rabbit Hunt, the jukebox and the roaring fire on prime form. The perfect way to end a working week.
