Just the Churchill. A virtual local, yet I've only been in it once in the last eight-and-a-half years; I can't for the life of me think why I was so generous with the marking?

...but I doubt he'll break sweat....
'There's also a handpump toilet flush in the ladies, according to Mrs Ale.' - I can't remember where I saw it/read it, but I've heard of a pub where the toilet flush is a Doom Bar pump clip!

Steve's comparison between British and German barmaids made me smile! :)
A tin opener, eh? In the early '70s I remember my dad attacking his Party Sevens with a screwdriver, beer spraying everywhere. I do recall some sort of tap device...
Yeah, but he'd lost all his lolly in Layer Cake. :ninja:
Went to a couple of fantastic places near the Royal Mile in 1993, but there's no chance of recalling their names.:(
Cheating a bit as I wasn't in a pub, rather standing next to me at the check-out queue at the Oxford Street branch of M & S: Kenneth Cranham (likes his cardies does our Ken).
Off topic I'm afraid - I don't know if you really are interested in The Clash, but there's an exhibition on at the Museum of London:...
Yes. I did catch sight of my reflection in the mirror at the N1 branch on leaving and noted that I was sporting a slight smile, so for an hour of fun I'd give it a go, but as a place to drink -...
