Bhurtpore is a very good pub , when you do Shrewsbury dont forget The Woodman Inn most people tend to miss it off a tour round but it is one of Salops hidden gems

As i said on my Cambridge visit i only managed half a dozen pubs in the centre , all but one GK :( , never got around to the further out ones , blame the wife .

The Grapes is unusual for an Oxford pub as its not overrun with tourists or students , its a proper local with usually 4 ales on and plenty of characters , used to enjoy the odd pint in the Mitre on...
Some very good pubs in Oxford though they can be a bit tourist overkill at weekends especially the better known ones like the Lamb and Flag , Eagle and Child , Kings Arms , Turf and the White Horse ,...
Should be doing Ludlow in a few weeks time , beautifull town with lots of nice looking pubs but very few reviews . Then later in the year looking to do Wem , Whitchurch and Ellesmere up in north...
