As I use Fullers pubs frequently I don't feel surprised at the price. In Reading I saw 2 beers at 3.4 that were £6.20
I don't think I would have paid £7.50 for it but as the Harp doesn't display prices I would have found out how much only when.i came to pay.£6.75 for camra members is still too dear.

Agree.I like drinking early in the week but.lots of pubs now don't open.or open later.Lunchtime drinking is dead in London.

Looking at the beer list it's all beers from the big brewers freely available at Tesco etc.i imagine it's a bit of a novelty but can he succeed longterm.
What's gopping mean.
Brakspeares beer is also brewed at wychwood but that's another brewer whose beers have lost their reputation over the years.

These have all provided me with good cask in the last year or so but no idea if they are the best but they don't as yet sell to Wetherspoons as far as.i am aware.

Quite a few on that list are a bit dubious. Some because they have closed and some of them don't brew there own beer which is the requisite of a taproom.interesting list though.
I.should rephrase that.i mean reasonable quality brewers .You don't get the best brewers selling to spoons although.i have until recently been drinking oakham and thornebridge for less than £2.50
Totally bad price for a train station location.I use Wetherspoons for beer of reasonable quality for a cheap price.I would not pay nearly a fiver for their beers unless I was trapped airside at one...
I don't mean poor quality beer just that I never seem to get a beer that I want to have a second one of.
Not been in the Southampton for about 3month but i think their cask beers are shit.Never had a.great beer in my 20-30 visits but have noticed tht Nev seems to to rate the pub .Strange ?
