The Red Lion is now the Lion of Beaconsfield.
Listed on PuG as Cherrytree (one word). Pub website and WhatPub clearly states two words i.e. Cherry Tree. It may or may not be known as The Cherry Tree at Blackrod, but Cherry Tree (without Inn) is...
Ed Sheeran downing shots on a stag do in Henley here. Pangolin and Quinno didn't think much of the place on their visits.
Ditto. Only ever saw bottles, strangely enough at a garden centre near me.
Wriggly Monkey based in Bicester now a goner, according to the Oxford Mail. Had a couple of their bottled beers – nothing that set the pulse racing.
Hear, hear!
The Cricketers's website has forfeited its innings and can be hit for six.
The Prince Albert's website appears to be knackered, so can be removed by force from the site.
And just Aylesbury's Kings Head for me.
The Dashwood Arms is now The Dashwood Roadhouse (n.b. WhatsPub states Road House (two words), and the pub's FB page states Roadhouse).
The George's website is undomained and can be politely asked to leave.
3/10 for me:
Falkland Arms
The George Inn
The Woolpack
I see they've corrected the typo that originally had the Falkland Arms referred to as the 'Falcon Arms'.
Pub now closed, and website kaput. PuG Link.
Hahaha. Nice one Sir Quinno!
Heartily seconded. Well played BP; keep 'em coming!
The Hundred's website has expired along with the pub (although I see the villagers have set up a Facebook page, trying to raise the money to buy the pub as a Community Pub; I wish them well).
Quite remarkable indeed. Outstanding work Richard!
Blue Scrumpy at The Three Conies in the Oxfordshire / Northants wilderness:
"We were led away from the main bar area to a separate dining area that was decorated in a bizarre manner, with plenty...
Looks like The Northcote was OK based on the five reviews before you and Tris (one of them mine). I'm guessing PSM's review was a retrospective one, as April 2020 was mid-lockdown, so its decline...
With WBT's tap closing almost 3 years ago, their website and FB pages are, predictably, bereft of life.
I work in Marlow and it's the only pub in the town I haven't visited, simply because I thought solo drinkers were frowned upon/discouraged. Think I'll have to pay a visit to see what the lay of the...
The list we've all been waiting for! 12 or 13 for me at a quick glance, albeit a handful of those have changed their names since I visited.
Another bagel for Wittenden's list, but 6/10 for Quinno's one.
The .co.uk 'official website' for The Crown has been coronally ejected. I've replaced with the new (now .com).
Just 3/12 for me (must try harder), although I should be able to knock off the Basketmakers and the Ypres Castle in June as I'll be down that way.
