delboy20 showed a terrible lack of faith in Villa today, only going for a 2-1 win.
Wayne Rooney was just on TV being asked about his dad’s alleged involvement in a betting scam. “I don’t want to talk about that,” said Rooney, “I’m just gutted about being sent off in the 70th minute...
The way things are going for Sunderland, I dread to think. One thing to be said is that in recent years whenever another team is going through a bad run of form and is desperate for a result, more...
But why would you welcome bad advice?
A weekend in Sheffield failed to provide the beer-related opportunities I’d have liked due to pressure of time, but I did get to the Sheffield Tap at the railway station. What a gem that is, and what...
Nice to see PG's two Sunderland fans sitting first and second in the table. ;)
Obviously Sunderland themselves will be top of the Premier League by 2pm next Saturday...
I've applied.
Sunderland have been busier than most in the transfer market (nine signings so far), so a lot will depend on how quickly the new players settle into the team. Hopefully we can build on last season’s...
According to The Guardian’s Word of Mouth Blog, it’s dodgy looking pumpclips and crap puns.
Are people really so put off by some cheesy artwork and a mangled Spoonerism? I just assumed many...
Doing the rounds on Twitter:
Michael Owen is celebrating owning a winner at Royal Ascot. More silverware where someone else did all the work.

Had a very good week, thanks in no small part to the weather as we wandered about the South Devon coast. Anyway, BOTW is Oakham Citra, which closely edges it from Dark Star’s American Pale Ale.
I'm another one who's boycotting any royal wedding related products - I passed on the Skinner's Kate Loves Willy yesterday. (Shame, as I like their beers, and anything with a double entendre in the...
A few good beers this week, the best of which was Butts Brewery's Barbus Barbus.

Goose Cooked?
InBev swallows up US craft brewery behind the Goose Island beers. I've had their IPA and Honkers Ale, both of which were excellent.
Of course, any enjoyment from reading The Guardian can be had, entirely for free, via the internet - something which the beer industry has thus far spectacularly failed to achieve.
I've long been under the impression that the "moron" market was Tim Martin's target
demographic.
Seriously though, the idea of smaller Wetherspoons does sound alarmingly like a sort of Tesco...
