Sorry that a few of the Pubs Galore community couldn't make it for Covid reasons, but it was fine day out for those that did...

Picking up on various suggestions made during the day, candidates...

I only have to travel from glamorous Wigan, so will probably head to the Twelve Tellers for breakfast (perhaps 10:00 to 10:30-ish?).

Anybody thinking of visiting the Sam Smiths in Preston may be disappointed...

A national treasure!

The Grade II listing details from Historic England assigns it to the New Brutalism school of architecture, but the curved edges to each floor of the car park above does make a huge difference...

Whether coming from home or Birmingham, I am aiming to get to the Old Vic (assuming that's still the meeting point) between 11:30 and 12 noon.

Preston central bus station and car park is truly a work of art, well worth its Grade II listing...

April the 8th is the start of the Camra members weekend in Eastbourne.
