Just read that Nottingham based Totally Brewed have thrown in the towel. Unsurprisingly, they blame 'massive increases in costs'. Their micropub, Totally Tapped, will continue to trade, but will sell...
I'm pretty certain I've never had one of their beers, so can't really comment.
Devon based Hunter's Brewery have announced they've gone into administration. Spiralling costs are blamed, as per.

Just heard that the music themed brewery Revolutions, in Castleford, is to close. In typical fashion they had a You Tube link on their Facebook page to The Doors playing 'The End'! Must admit I was...
The Bishop Auckland based Hops & Dots has gone into liquidation. I believe they're very much at the craft end of the spectrum and I've never knowingly had one of their beers, but it's sad to see any...
The latest newsletter from Wakefield CAMRA stated that Leeds Brewery has been served a winding up petition from HMRC. Confirmation...
Thought I knew just about every northern brewery, but I can honestly say I've never heard of them.

Hurrah! Some good news at last. Apparently, the brewery is to be saved:

Just signed in to highlight Nomadic's closure. Definitely sad to see this one go. Their home delivered, bag-in-a-box beers were a life saver during the first lockdown. They brewed some good stuff.

Surprised? Thought not.
Thanks, ROB. That makes sense. He's certainly brewed some cracking beers down the years and will leave a sizeable hole in the Wakey drinking scene.
John, can I ask your source for this? Been on the local beer / pub sites and can't find any mention of it (so far). l'll admit I've not had a wander round town for a couple of weeks, but I'm sure I'd...
Wow! Just read on another site that Kelham Island Brewery is to close (confirmed on their Facebook page). Apparently, the Fat Cat will remain open. How many more, I wonder?
Just heard that the Keighley based brewery Naylor's has ceased trading, as of today. Another victim of Covid, unfortunately. TBH they were never my favourite beers, but it's very sad to hear of...
Wow! Not very often I'm genuinely shocked in this thread, but that's really bad news. Loved Voodoo Mild, Amish Mash, Shankar IPA to name but a few. When Great Heck first had the Bull & Fairhouse as...
Mordue Brewery, famous for beers such as Workie Ticket and Radgie Gadgie, has gone into administration. Article here:

I'm afraid I share the cynical view being expressed elsewhere, that once the bean counters realise the economies of doing all the brewing up at Masham, they'll find reasons for it not to return.
My immediate reaction was that it was a good thing, but then the questions started to formulate. Although the York brand will survive, will its full beer range? Will Centurion's Ghost (York) be...
Just heard today, from a friend, that Bradford Brewery has closed down. A Google search didn't bring up much, but the website would seem to confirm it. Rather like Moby with Tickety Brew, I have to...
Seconded.
It's the Hambleton brewery, apparently.
The latest Leeds CAMRA e-letter notes that Collingham Ales has ceased brewing, after five years. As far as I know, it was pretty much a one man operation and didn't have a large range, but I recall...
