I have been in a total of five of them, but I wouldn't call any of them the best at anything!

I have been in a total of five of them, but I wouldn't call any of them the best at anything!
Actually got 6 out of 50. Great for me this far South! Mainly in the Strand area, but 1 in Hampstead!
As an aging "Manc" I have naturally done them all many times over with the Pev, Britons & the City every week for many years.
But on the recent "London list" only the Cheshire Cheese!
Been in 3
Higher Buck, Waddington, Lancashire
The Cholmondeley Arms, Malpas, Cheshire
The Boat, Erbistock, near Wrexham
Actully had Sunday lunch in two of them
The Cholmondeley, just once...
Just two for me:-
"Tamworth Tap" (At an "away" match) and the only Welsh contender "Mold Ale House"
Just The Corn Mill for me. Many times, one of my Llangollen Locals
23/100 for me
Inc. the long closed Jolly Angler.
Checked on BITE. They still think it is open!! :muppet:
Yet another Chesney for me!
Just the Harp, about 50 years ago!
But I Have Been There TWICE!!
[QUOTE=Mobyduck;117894]Not been to Brum in quite a while and only six on this list.
Zero!

7 definate, but I think 9, with visits all in the North and Midlands.
Al's crawls always seemed to include some John Smiths Smooth Crap, but I am sure he didn't find a Full Winfield of it in one Crawl.
Tent! 3/15 On the same day 51 years ago!
A record London score of 2 for me.
The usual suspect (Harp)
Lyceum Tavern.
Both on the same crawl 52 years ago.
After my 34 in Manc, it's back to normal with "yet another zero" in Brum. Hope to correct this in the Autumn if not before!
After scoring 0, 1, 0 on the last three southern lists, good to get a 34 on a Manc list. Could be higher with 2 or 3 not sure's. Some of the "Gastro" pubs were basic boozers to me. Went in...
Yet another zero!
I have carefully avoided eating in 48 of them.
Meal in Parkers Arms, Clitheroe
Breakfast only in the Charlton Arms, Ludlow after staying for two nights.
Usual Suspect!
Harp, Covent Garden. 51 Years ago!
Must find a map of this Lundun to see if it's still there.
Ramsbottom (I used to live directly opposite!)
Lymm
Burton Bridge
Just The Fleece Inn
Boddingtons started to ruin Boddingtons Bitter long before Whitbread became involved. It was a dull pale straw colour then (almost hazy) and very dry and bitter.
When it became bright "shiny" and...
14/15 Been to all the old ones as you would expect from a Manc drinking there for 50 years, but missed out on the Molly House on my visits since my exile to Wales. Some good pubs but less than...
Wow 11/11 for me! My first jackpot. Some of them BC (Before Camra).
nowt to be proud of though as it's only the AA guide (Alco Anon!), but some good pubs there.
Ditto! formally none but now 7.
