RCH Pitchfork. A personal favourite.

Dorothy Goodbody's Golden Ale. It's......ok I suppose.

Lovely drink. I grew up in Banks's country but 3.90 is obscene for that strength.

Titanic Plum Porter

I prefer English hopped beers without really knowing it. When I think of my favourite beers and breweries they are Ludlow, Holden's, Batham's, Banks' and Hobsons, their beers are all British hopped...

Peroni Doppio Malta. 6.6%

TITANIC Captain Smith's - 5.2%

One of the best beers I've had this year. Absolutely superb. Pale beers can go and Foxtrot Oscar if ever I catch this brew again!:lol:

Batemans GHA for me. Very moorish.

Pale Rider. Can take it or leave it though. The Golden Glow beforehand was superb.

I'm glad you said that as that's exactly what I thought when I had it. It's a really nice beer, I think.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. One of the best.

Amber Ales 'Slurping Sulzer' commemorative beer for the 50th anniversary of a British locomotive design. 4.7%

..............and orders for Top Totty in pubs around the land increase markedly.

It's OK. I did exactly the same the first time I asked for it!:D

I tried Salopian Brewerys new Labyrinth - (a black IPA (!) at 4.5%) in the Montgomerys Tower in Shrewsbury and it was excellent. Salopian beers do seem to have their own distinctive hop profile.

Can I nominate Three Tuns 'Old Scrooge' at 6.5% ABV? Not a new beer of course but a very old 'un! I had two halves at Ludlow Food Festival last weekend having only tried it in a bottle previously....
