Having drawn up my Beer Account for the year, our planned family visit to a National Trust property (the home of the hops for Westerham's Viceroy IPA) fell through, so we were able to record our 21st...
Finally made 20 new pubs out of 70 visits. Unlikely to improve on this. I haven't compared with last year yet, but I'm sure it is worse.
Twenty now, with a serendipitous visit to one of the few pubs in our vicinity that I 'd not been in. Hard pressed now to beat last year's 24.
Now on 18, might make 20, but unlikely to equal last year's 24.
A week's R and R in Norfolk has brought the total to 17. A weekend in Somerset might bring in a couple more, with any luck.
Yes! I'm hoping on improving on this when we go to Norfolk in a few weeks.Might even be allowed in a few of my haunts back in the 70s,though a lot have been TESCO-ed.
At last into double figures.
Still on nine.
Thought they were travelling cricket fans!
Didn't think there were 18 pubs in Tonbridge! Still on 5, with maybe a couple of new ones later this month.
Still on 3.Planned on to do one last Tuesday, but "dark" by 9.30 The Hawkenbury. Not strictly new, as I used to go in during the seventies, but renamed and a turbulent intervening period in between.
Up to four so far:the pub visit planned for last Saturday fell through, though we hope to rescedule in a few weeks.
Three so far this year:can I keep this rate up? Unfortunately, I doubt it.
One already!
