Glamorous - could you oppress the pre-May photos if not already done so?

There's a theme here, this being the most disgusting beer I've drunk. Obviously mango's a no-no.
Another week exiled in Oxford, sentenced to some halves of Guinness or l***r, drunk by way of exploring the city's outer pubs for the first and - usually - the last time. Otherwise:
Adnams - Ghost...
All the way out to The Lord Napier & Star!
If it it's going to be perfection, The Pembury Tavern is the place to go, otherwise it would be in trouble.
Largely in Oxford with a limited pub selection, but generally consistent quality:
Adnams - Ghost Ship **½
Dark Star - Hophead **½
Dark Star - Pale Ale **½
Double Barrelled - Parka **
Five...
Four for me:
Black Horse Hotel (thanks to Preston)
The Harrow Inn (wonderful pub, but I'm not the only one to have encountered the landlady)
The Prince Alfred (a 20-minute walk and a pub...
Been away from the Forum for a while, exiled in Oxford hence the belated congratulations!
Certainly, but it wasn't this.
Still stuck mainly in Oxford, so a bit Groundhog Day, but all cask:
Abbeydale - Salvation **
Adnams - Eastern Edge **
Adnams - Ghost Ship **½
Crouch Vale - Anchor Street Porter *½
Dark Star...
Agree. But I had a Fuller's jubilee-themed beer at The Bear a couple of days ago (no Dark Star options on) and it was actually a Fuller's beer where I'd have ordered a second pint. I've had the...
A poor month, with just two pubs reviewed with a score of '6' or over. The runner-up goes to:
The Ship
The clear winner goes to:
The Grapes
Yup. Headlines sell.
Café Rouge - reopened as a wine bar called Wilding.

This is probably for some so-called 'craft' beer and possibly with a high ABV. I drink in some pretty expensive London pubs and £5.80 is where cask beers top out, far less if drinking in an ale...
For those interested in such matters: Jubilee Beers.
A disastrous week, all in Islington and nothing special.
Just three ales and all BOTW:
Five Points - Best **½ at The Earl of Essex.
St. Austell - Proper Job **½ at The King's Head.
Timothy...
£1 isn't enough to tempt me to drink the stuff, let along buy it.
365 Days Later.
From 26th May last year when normal pubbing resumed, up to 26th of this month, I've done 440 new pubs, only about 10 being modern conversions, the rest all having a history dating...
The Greenwich Pensioner - the website's cashed its last pension.

Indeed.
At least you're on the coast. ;)
Do I detect a note of sarcasm? I admit to fishing myself...
Me too. I also used to lick the bowl in which my mum mixed the powder and milk to make Miracle Whip for the in-sachet trifle - happy days!
I wonder if it's like this pudding beer. Like drinking a half of butterscotch Angel Delight.
So Deuchars will be brewed by GK?
The Boot Inn - could you refine the address to that of Kitchen Hill Road?
