If you only had time for one beer in Monmouth where would you go ?
I'll be passing through some time next week. I'll be driving so one beer only - could possibly do 2 halves I suppose!

Cheers for the idea but I went there last year! Wasn't that impressed by it to be fair.
We are going Vauxhall to Effingham Junction then the 30 minute walk! I know it's not the Slaughtered Lamb we think of but we talked about visiting about 5 years ago and have only just got round to...
A mate and I are making the pilgrimage to the Slaughtered Lamb Black Swan soon for a Campari & Soda!
As this involves a trip in and out of London we have come up with a small list of other pubs we'd...
Well it is still all to play for tomorrow! I can only see you beating us to be honest but you never know, stranger things have happened. Come on the Villa!!:avfc::avfc::avfc::avfc:
Visits to Lichfield and a week around Sudbury have bumped me up to 47. Manchester next week and a trip to the Forest Of Dean should net me a few more...
Much as I hated Jack leaving he is a quality player. That said you paid far too much for a player you didn't really need! Either just because you could or to prevent a rival buying him. Good business...
Cheers.
You confused me with the Brunswick. Still down as the "B Lounge at Piccadilly" on here!
Don't worry about our performance - I suspect it will all be over before then! Don't get me wrong I'm...
Hi all,
I have managed to get a ticket for the "Citeh" game - last match of the season, they are like gold dust!.
I am using the "Megabus" into Shudehill interchange. Gets in at 10. As my mates...
The Scales is now 24 Market Street.
Hi all,
I'll be in Gloucester soon "for one night only"!
Any recommendations?
Staying in the Quay area and like the look of Tank (Gloucester brewery pub)
Any micros in the town?
Cheers,
I am in a similar boat once again! I have a ticket for the West Ham match tomorrow but my brother hasn't!
He is still travelling with me and would like to watch the match but it isn't the TV game....
Up to 13 by the end of Feb, mainly thanks to a tour of Droitwich. Off to West Ham next week so should pick up a couple there.
Had a quick look and been in most. I'll check through properly.
Have to say a couple on the list would not win any awards, believe me!
Floodgate is now called the Devil's Taphouse.

Finally off the mark with the 2 Sommar brewery pubs in Brum. A slow start but I did have to isolate for the first 10 days this year!!
Not sure it's good news to be honest.
The place needs a change of ownership to be sure but it won't be "good news" if it never opens again.
I for one really hope it gets a new lease of life...
Not the best start to the year for me. Tested positive yesterday. PCR today.
Happy New Year everyone!
Almost time to start again !
Lets hope the coming year is easier for us to tick off those new pubs but I really don't know how it will play out.
I'm not really thinking of a target but I will...
Finished on 86. Not bad I suppose.
Merry Christmas everyone - hope you all have a great day.:cheers::cheers:
Well I have added it - I will mark it as closed when appropriate!
There is now a pop up pub in Brum - The Pigeon In The Park. It is by the cathedral opposite the Joint Stock.
It will only be there for a month so do we need it adding to the site? My gut feeling...
Impressive!
