2009 was the year we promoted to BSP. It was also the year I last missed home game, ever since I haven't missed home game.
Haha! I am surprised you still remember me after years away ;-)
Marston's Lovely Warne in The Fox, Hopwas.
Seasonal ale and boy it is lovely!
Flowerpot, Derby? Hmm I don't see anything wrong with their toilets.
But then I may be too pissed to notice
I feel bad that I didn't introduce myself so..
My name is Ian Taylor and 33 years old (soon to be 34 on Nov 12)
I am profoundly deaf so some of you may wonder my English is rather rubbish. Now...
Cheers mate! I was just curious :)
Is he still around?
Apologies but I have been away for two years.
Ill go for Elgood's Black Dog.
Bloody hell. After reading old posts, I have forgotten I went on pub crawls such as Cannock, Birmingham and others.
It is nice to look back on my old pub crawls. It is incredible that you forget...
:D
I am season ticket holder at TFC. Have you been to Tamworth before? If not I can draw up a list of pubs if you want.
Nuneaton is really poor for decent pubs. Only pubs I can think which are decent are The Fox, The Railway and 2 JDW.
Right guys and gals.. Personally Derby has far superior pubs than Leicester (I may be biased but it is truth :))
I fancy making this trip for PuG meet up and I have inside knowledge of Derby pubs...
I lived in Derby for 5 years. There is expectional pubs such as Brunswick, Alexandra Hotel, Olde Dolphin, Flowerpot and few others. Very pretty walkable to do the all. Leaving Brunswick as last port...
You should have gone to The Lamb, home of mighty Tamworth. We lost to leaders to Newport County.. Cracking match.
Elgood's Black Dog at The Fox Inn, Hopwas. Nice and easy black stout ale.
Is that so?! I am rather shocked to be honest
Of course I do remember you. You gave me list of pubs before I set off to Nottingham in Oct 2010.
Or was it 2009. Can't remember lol!
Haha! I wish.
I am working as potsman in The Fox Inn, Hopwas. Started 3 months ago.
Ha! Glad Soupy is still around. Damn, I have been meaning go to Beacon for years, never got around to this :(
Afraid so. Still official tester, in fact I have visited 39 Wetherspoon pubs since I left this forum.
Oh I am working in, of all the places, pub :)
Ha Millay! I have forgotten you!
So everyone on Black County pub crawl eh? Shame would love to go.
Never mind.. Looks like I have to catch up old posts in last two years!
:D
Greetings! After 2 years away I decided to return. In these 2 years, lots of things happened including 2 different jobs and my father's health (thankfully recovered).
I don't go on pub crawl...
Bit too late now. Maldenman has already gone to bath yesterday.
Lol! I was rather busy today.. errands and tamworth playing at home. We drew 2-2. I'll report tomorrow as it is my free day.
