I haven't been to many yet, notable omissions being the Kelham Island Tavern and Shakespeares. I hope to do the latter this afternoon or tomorrow. The Crow Inn was good when I was there a couple of weeks ago - they ask for contact name and number and write it down themselves. Limited tables inside and no standing at the bar.
I was at the Blake Hotel the other day, which has a QR code but if you don't use a QR scanner you can key in the URL in a browser on your phone to register your presence. (Sister pub the Wellington had staff wearing visors as well as a perspex screen at the counter, while the Blake just had the latter.)
Fat Cat had a pad of paper for you to write your details, with just one pen.
I went in the Gardeners Rest for a shareholders preview, when they were testing out their systems and approach. I think they've increased the number of tables since then; T&T was via QR code/website.
