Four for me:
Black Horse Hotel (thanks to Preston)
The Harrow Inn (wonderful pub, but I'm not the only one to have encountered the landlady)
The Prince Alfred (a 20-minute walk and a pub where I've spent more time than any other)
Which Red Lion in Westminster?
No, not that one - this one.
Inn is out as locals favour Bar and Tap for new pub names

Number of pubs in England and Wales falls to record low

If I knew how I'd check if the number of pubs listed here (and What?ub) reflect that.
Ah, sorry, I missed that - that brings the PuG figure down to around 43,500, I think.
Still quite a big difference, but I suppose the various restaurants, cocktail bars, wine bars, hotel bars, industrial estate brewery taps etc... that are listed on this site, were probably not part of the sub-40,000 figure, and that there may be a number of closures we've yet to capture on here as well.
