Only tried two of theirs, Bermondsy Best (dont like) and Bankside Blonde(OK but nothing special).

In this case, the city is Leeds, with the list drawn up by local events mag Leeds-List.

I've definitely been to 8, with vague memories of a couple of others.
A big fat zero for me as Yorkshire is a County I've not been around much. It partly goes back to the old days when Webster's and Tetley's had a stranglehold.
This conversation from the Yet another list thread is in danger of being lost, so as it hasn't as yet been moved by those that have the power ,I have done this, and pasted the page link onto the Pub Crawl section, entitled London In Spring.

Not added to What?ub by my old Trafford & Hulme branch in either Real, Keg, or closed state! Perhaps three arson attacks and one bullet attack in a year has scared them off!
Last review from Fearless Al in 1995 (apart from the landlord scoring it 10)
This "Best Community Pub Winner" seems to suffer from some of the worst community thugs nearby!
PS:- Shows 3 handpumps on website picture, but only advertises John Smith's Smooth on drinks menu.
4 for me.
Sheffield Tap, Foleys, Cartford & The Botanist.
Just 2 ;Foley's and Sheffield Tap.
None of these!
None of them, I am planning a crawl based in Highgate for my local pub crawl crowd and the Red Lion And Sun has been dismissed.
I've been to the Bull at Ditchling on cycle rides long before we discovered the richer pickings on the minor roads off the "B" road between Turners Hill and Ditchling. There was also the advantage of the stony track from South of Plumpton to the top of the Downs ridge rahter than suffering the ignominy of having to dismount and walk up the metalled road across Ditchling Beacon.
A possible is the one in Highgate but I'm really not sure about it.
How can there possibly be a "Sports" pub of the year? They're all a load of shite.!
Bull at Ditchling, years ago though so not really reviewable by me on here
Sheffield Tap, Doctors Orders, Foleys and Red Lion & Sun. Already had plans to go to the Bull next time I'm in Brighton.
20 great UK walks with pubs in today's Guardian.
I've been to a surprising seven of the pubs:
Craven Arms
Britannia Inn
The Tanners Arms
Sligachan Hotel
Albatros
The Carew Arms
The Lamb & Lion
Just the Maltings for me, thanks to a PuG awayday, a lot of walking and a lot of pubs.
I'm tired of this guide (geddit?).
There's a list of contenders beneath the description of the winner. The Marksman was a CAMRA pub over thirty years ago selling Godson's beers and later Pitfield. The only other one I've been to is the Flitch Of Bacon in Little Dunmow when it was a fairly ordinary village pub owned by Bass Charrington.

Just two for me, in the SE section, The White Hart Overton an The Hoddington Arms Upton Grey(not Haddington as spelt on the list).
Just two for me ,The Pint Shop,Cambridge and the Bunch of Grapes,Bradford on Avon.
Both were good for ale,and I didn't eat in either.
Naturally a food oriented list but I've been to the three near Basingstoke (Sun Inn, White Hart and Hoddington Arms) and three of the four in Yorkshire even though they didn't get the region in bold. The Yorkshire three are all spookily just off the A1M at junctions 47 & 48 (Blue Bell, Grantham Arms, Alice Hawthorn). And what happened to the North East, and just one each for Wales and Scotland? Looks like some metropolitan wanker just looked at previous lists and colour supplements.
I went to the Compasses at Crundale years ago, before Sheps bought it, and we do visit the Globe and Rainbow,Kilndown fairly often.OK,it's foodie, but has a strong wet trade.Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter is always available, and Dark Star Hophead makes an appearance, so it ticks a lot of boxes for me. None of the others, though the Duke William at Ickham, and the Duck at Pett Bottom are on the list. The Duck more so, because a) of the name, b) of the James Bond associations and c) because I've heard good reports about the beer (Gravity).
Just two for me, but so many years ago, pre M3 even so may not really count
Sun Inn, Dummer White Hart, Overton
Only 2 oop North pubs for me.
Higher Buck, Waddington
Aysgarth Falls, Aysgarth
