None for me. Nuffink sarff of the Thames, innit.

...but clearly "serves" Byker as well, so I've added it to that area.
That makes sense to me. I do like Newcastle a lot and hope to go back there without any pressure of chasing around a load of Spoons. The downside of the place is that a lot of the time I can't understand a word anyone is saying but I had the same problem in Keswick a few months ago!
I am not an expert in Belgian beers or particularly like them much, but heres a list.
I'm no expert but know someone who is, he visits Belgium (usually Ghent) almost as many times a year as I visit the Great Western in Wolverhampton.
I'm with BF on this as I prefer UK or even US style beers. Anything with Lambic in the title is vile as far as I'm concerned and the fruit flavour ones can be horrible as well.
Chimay is available in supermarkets and many pubs. It's OK but not worth the money.
La Chouffe I seem to recall my mate bought me a bottle of this. It was OK.
Delirium Tremens Widely available in pubs, over-rated and rubbish iMO. People buy it for the name.
Hoegaarden I thought it was horrible!
Kriek There used to be a company that did large paper wrapped bottles of a stronger Kriek and a 5% Framboise but I can't remember what it was called/.
Kwak My mate told me that a local Spoons is selling this, haven't tried it.
Leffe Both Brune and Blonde are commonly found in supermarkets. The draught Blonde has been available in pubs for twenty years.
Orval This is one that I actually quite like. You can find it in pubs over here.
Rochefort These are arguably the best of the more mainstream Trappiste beers. They can be found over here but usually at a prohibitive price.
Rodenbach I tried this once and thought it was vile.
Westmalle The most commonly found Trappiste beer. You can get it over here or even on the ferry to Antwerp. They are OK,
If you can afford the Eurostar fare I'm told you can do a day trip to Lille in France where many bars stock Belgian beers.
Had most of these but not a fan of Belgian beer .Not tried many Cantillon as I hate sour beers but surprisingly rate the Rodenbach as a great beer.Noticed they did not include Westvleteren 12 recognised as probably the best beer in the world. No I have not had it.At the bottom of the list is a quiz on world beers.10/10 for me.(smug)
9 out of 10 0n the quiz amazingly, just making a wrong guess on the Bintang.
I love Belgian beers so I've had them all except the Corsendonk Pater Noster, the stronger Bush and the weaker Westvleteren. Lambics, Krieks and wheat beer hold no terrors for me, they're mostly well made beers that are far better than some of the cloudy tripe turned out by bearded, tattooed men in this country. As has been pointed out most of the Belgian beers are easily available in the UK, and they missed out Chimay White and McChouffe as well, a far better drink than La Chouffe IMHO. I got 90% on the quiz, due to a bad guess on Bintang as well.
Last night I had a Stone "Go to IPA" and that was s#1t3; like eating a burger fried in sweat.
I got a pathetic 5/10 for the World Beer Quiz, even got Tiger wrong as I thought it was Indian. I was once given a case of Chinese lager by a bloke from Chingford.

None of these, not really surprising as I don't really go for spiced beers. I had the Sheps Christmas Ale last December and it was foul, but might well have been off, as other comments were reasonably favourable.
None of the above either, and don't like the sound of any, other than the Weird Beard one.
The Sheps one rings a bell with me but that's about it. I had a Welton's offering today called Hogspudding which started off OK but after around half of it the very strong spice flavour (cinnamon & cloves at a guess) became overpowering and unpleasant. On the other hand a weak (3.8%) ELB brew that would normally fly under my radar was superb all the way down. It was called Three Kings
Only had the Weird Beard one at the brewery open day last year but didn't think it was much cop. Christmas beers NO!! Had Lees -plum pudding in a Wetherspoons and because it was only £1.25 a pint broke my no Christmas beers cause they will be shit rule..Still overpriced.

Some great looking London pubs here......
A selection of classics, I wonder which are the other 11 as the text says there are 22, the Olde Cheshire Cheese is one, The Cross Keys Covent Garden and The Mayflower, Rotherhithe are also in the book but which are the others, maybe the Princess Louise or The Mitre in Hatton Garden? Lovely photos as well.
Didn't the French House only serve beer in halves in it's Monty Balcon /Jeffrey "Jeff bin in" Bernard years?
For the record I've been in the Cittie of York before Mr Humphrey bought it, The Cheshire Cheese again before it was Sam Smith's, The Nags Head, The George, and the Flask, I don't recall just how long the Blackfriars has been on my to do list.
Done them all bar The French House and The Dove, in the main they are all good pubs,I didn't take to the George at all, The Prospect of Whitby is another tourist trap but a better experience although Iv'e not been there in a long time.
Been to them all except the 2 in Wapping. I never really got that far.
I've been in all but the French House and the Wapping Grapes, none of them in recent years and none I would bother returning to. I remember an Aussie bartwat getting the right hump in the Prospect Of Whitby when I quite reasonably asked for every single pint in a round to be topped up. Does anyone remember the card that CAMRA produced where the short measure on a pint could be cross referenced against the price of the pint revealing the cost of the shortfall? I've still got mine! It only went up to £2.00 a pint so would only work today in a smallish selection of Spoons. They should produce a Gold version for Central London pubs.
Been to all of these, and very hard to disagree with the selection (although human nature suggests that not everybody will agree...).
