Yes, its that time we have all been waiting for. This week sees the start of the Star Spring Beer Festival, so get your time off booked and get down there. Sam promises yet another classic combination of beers from breweries near and far, old and new, in the time honoured fashion of the Star festivals. There will be 46 as usual in the outside marquee, and plenty of other ever changing on the inside bar.
The festival starts on Wednesday at 5pm with evening opening on Thursday and full day opening Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you have never tried it before, what's been keeping you. Get down to one of the best, sorry, the best, pub festival around. And just for an extra incentive this time there will be a 'Bake Off' to see who can bake the best cake, which will be judged on Thursday evening.
