I got a few more beers in than I was expecting, most were halves though.
Hop Back GFB
Perridge Pale
Dark Star Green Hopped IPA
Three Castles EPA
Three Castles Grand Heritage
Magpie Eighth Is A Wish
Revolutions Swoon
Ramsbury Mockingbird and Mosaic
Cross Bay Vesper
Little Ox Filthy Rich
The Magpie beer was disgusting(to my taste), I should have guessed there would be Cinnamon involved in a Pumpkin spiced amber ale.
The Revolutions Swoon was gorgeous, a chocolate fudge milk stout.
There can though be only one winner,Dark Star Green Hopped IPA, still the classic taste it had before, a man in my condition shouldn't be drinking 6.5% beers I guess but It's only around for a short time once a year so I had to force a pint and a half down, It was easy.
Just a handful of beers, this week.
Titanic - Steerage.
North Riding - Cascade.*
Tigertops - Ready Mix.
Horbury - Chinook.
Hawkshead - 5 Hop.*
Having not tried the 5 Hop for ages, I'd forgotten how good it was. Sampled in The Hop, Wakefield.
I think you probably got more beers in than anyone was expecting. Glad things are normal(ish), albeit on one level.
With Revolutions Brewery being just six miles down the road from where I live, Swoon is quite a common sight in the local ale houses and was a semi-permanent fixture at the much missed Beer Exchange. I've tried it several times and just can't get on with it and this is from a man who loves chocolate. Similarly, I struggle with Saltaire's Triple Chocoholic. Definitely horses for courses and all that.
A decent week up the Nene Valley,Kennington,Ham and Croydon .
One Mile End -- Jazz Police (can)

Old Dairy -- Uber Brew
Oakham -- Inferno
Oakham -- Bishops Farewell *
Oakham -- Citra *
Inveralmond -- Daracha *

BOTW by a short head was Old Pie Factory American Pie,a new brewer for me and a very good strong West Coast Pale with some hints of pie tastes; biscuity and lemon. On top form in The Malt Shovel during a rock music themed beer festival.
Next week looks very quiet.
A few new ones for me last week, a mix of pub visits and bottles at home:
Post Road Pumpkin Ale - Brooklyn
Summer Saison - Runaway
Fresa - Thornbridge
Strawberry Lucaria - Thornbridge
Chocolate Milk Stout - Shiny
Valkyrie APA - Rudgate
Veltins Pilsener - Brauerei VELTINS
Whistle Belly Vengeance - Summerskills
Ginger Stout - Ticketybrew
Duvel Tripel Hop Citra - Duvel Moortgat
Most of these were very drinkable, and a bit close to call really, but the Duvel Tripel Hop Citra just about gets my Beer of the Week award.
Last week was quiet for me :-
Adnam's Nut Brown 4.0%
Orkney Northern Light 4.0%
Exmoor Exiles Weizen 4.2%
Fownes A Mernmaid's Tale 4.8%
Hop Back Summer Lightning 5.0%
Ludlow Stairway 5.0%
Holden's Special 5.1%
Kelham Island Pale Rider 5.2%
Titanic Plum Porter Reserve 6.5%
I'm going for the Plum Porter Reserve. Being a big heavy porter I didn't find the plum flavour so overpowering as it tends to be in the standard one. It was £3.20 in the Wolverhampton Keg & Comfort where the Fownes one ran it close.
BOTW Titanic Plum Porter Reserve
Almasty -vanilla donut milkshake ipa 6.0 was beer of the week
Decent week for me:
Woodforde's Tundra
Adnams Ghost Ship*
Jo C's Knot Just Another IPA*
Kelham Island Riders on the Storm
Abbeydale Absolution*
Old Pie Factory American Pie*
Grafton Blondie
Brunswick Black Sabbath*
Phipps Green and Gold*
Both the Black Sabbath and the American Pie, as Mr F notes, were excellent.
BOTW though has to go Phipps Green and Gold due to loyalty to the Saints. A very easy drinking green-hopped beer of which the one pint I had time for flew down.
West and North Yorkshire:
Brown Cow-Ledsham Sessions:3.6%abv.Leafy,flinty.
Yorkshire Dales-Skeldale:4.4% abv.Delicious pale ale.Fruity hops, some vanilla. My BOTW,taken in The Farmers Arms
I think I've already identified my BOTW for this week. Some will probably guess at which pub.
It wouldn't be here by any chance? :) The Cover Bridge Inn
Cambridge Brewing Co - Misty River
Brodie's and probably others have used cocoa nibs. I've no idea what they are but assume they are less sweet than chocolate.
Purple Moose do a Chocolate Mousse beer which the first time I tried it was horrendously sweet, a Death By Chocolate type of drink. When I tried it last month it was a lot better and Vanilla had been included.
Some beers just have chocolate malt which gives a dark colour and an aroma of chocolate but lack the sweetness of the real stuff. My son likes the sweeter real choc beers so is pretty miffed when its just the malt.Chocolate is an expensive additive to beers so some add sugar to them to give the sweetness.Apparently Timothy Taylors add sugar to most of their beers and I do find Landlord a bit sweet.
