Dog & Duck - Ripon

This is now a Joe Riggatoni's resturant.

Hi oldboots,

Marked as closed and left the name as The Dog & Duck. I am assuming that Joe Riggatoni's is not really a pub, and that The Dog & Duck was it's name when it stopped being a pub.

Your assumption is correct, I believe Joe Rigatoni is a chain of Italian restaurants, there's also one in Harrogate and I think York. The Dog and Duck was the latest in a series of name changes. I think it started life as the Black Dog or Black Boy, was known as the Outside Inn then the D&D before the Italian's made them an offer :p
