Is there something different about this thread as it stays active when I've reads it.
It's ok now and went after I did the post
I won't be visiting any more new pubs this month so I'm going to nominate Friends of Ham in Leeds as my POTM.
It's not a pub in the everyday sense at all, but some very good ale, a great charcuterie board and a very pleasant place to while away an hour (or two).
I must learn how to play their shufflebord game as well.
Pub of the month is The King William 1V ,first visit this month,a bit of a way out but worth the trek.Plenty of interesting beer ,cask and keg from Brodies and beyond.
One pub stands head and shoulders above the rest visited in September and that's The Marble Arch ,Manchester. An outstanding range of Marble ales in an interesting building, and just as good as my last visit three years ago.It will always be a 10 from me.
Just one contender, The Junction . I can't even add to Ale & Hearty's fulsome reveiw of the place, he's said everything that I would have said, only better.
I have to agree with BF. Nothing came close in September, or any month this year, to The Marble Arch. Simply fantastic beer.
My pub of the month for September goes to the Brickmakers Arms http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/34215/,this is a really nice unaltered pub with some very good Burton Bridge beers on the bar.
