This pub does not have Lower in it's name. It's simply called Bird In Hand it's known locally as The Bottom Bird.

It's near neighbour at 113 Huddersfield Road is actually called Bird In THE Hand it's known locally as The Top Bird.

Well that's not at all confusing then :)

We have corrected the Bird in Hand, shame we can't have all of that information there really as that is some fun local knowledge.

There is..

2X The Fox
2X Three Tuns
2X Red Lion
2X The Globe Inn

All few miles each other!

Can be bit of bit of problem for people, who never been to Tamworth, want directions to these pub!
