Still commenting on a few blogs. Not Curmudgeon's though, when I replied to one of his sycophant followers, proving him wrong, he banned me. :muppet:

Yes, it's a condition of use of his blog's comments section that you don't argue with him. It's pointless arguing anyway, because he is always right. (I once provided a link to some figures which proved that the supposed acceleration in closure of pubs following the smoking ban in July 2007 was the result of a misplaced data point on a graph - no one replied, but at least I wasn't banned!)
does this count as a visit https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-politics-56802020
He was probably hoping to tick off the pub, rather than get a ticking off from the guvnor. Looks like he missed a good pub.
This is alleged to be where Boris got a tick today for drinking in a pub garden, instantly putting the pub on some people's boycott list.
But what was a customer doing inside... and then drinking outside whilst not sitting at a table?

However, at least he got a drink, unlike the other chap!
Erm, thousands of people have died because the leader of the opposition has failed to oppose lockdown? Is this guy (a life-long Labour-voting pub landlord) serious?
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister (apparently his name is Boris Johnson, though that is also the name of a well-known bare-faced liar and philanderer, so it shurely can't be true) was out campaigning for the West of England mayor but was unable to tell the BBC what the name of that mayor was. Guess which news item got a longer clip on the BBC website (hint: it wasn't the one that showed up the PM as being a few brain cells short of a picnic).
