Nothing surprises me with G4S and the Sky Murdoch corporation they have even been know too do the same and spy on residential property whilst coming in to read your electric meter to see if you have a dodgy sky box at home. We have a smart meter at home yet the guy has been round three times this year wanting to read it from G4S even though I told him its a smart meter it don't need reading it sends its reading though automatically each week. I can even read it from this laptop it tells me everything from units used off peak to use to units used on peak cost per unit I can even get a graph up showing average use per day 4KW.
