Most of week the Red Star IPA has been nailed on but pipped at the post last night by Wantsum Black Prince, a very lovely, almost stout like Mild and worthy BOTW. Both enjoyed in The Alfred on different days.
A modest week in South London.
Wimbledon -- SW17
Robinsons -- Trooper Light Brigade
and BOTW ,yet again Burning Sky Aurora * (>3PT) in perfect nick and now a permanent ale at the top bar in The George.
Next week a few unreviewed pubs in The Fens, where it can be hit and hope on the ale front.
A very quiet week with only BOTW Oakham Bishops Farewell featuring.
Good week for me, including one of my favourite Sunday afternoon crawls.

*had in Wetherspoons but the price ticket was covering the name, it looks like a "beer festival" beer but isn't on the list I have.
Had a pint of that earlier at The Pear Tree. Crazy pump clip, but obviously didn't look at it hard enough as I had no idea Wadworth was involved.

The easy winner is Heavy Industry No. 77 which was £3.00 at the Llanbedr beer festival. It's a new world hop thing and was in immaculate condition, I meant to add that ass of the Heavy Industry beers were top notch.
BOTW Heavy Industry No. 77
Some decent beers again this week but the return of
Oakham -hawse buckler could not be overlooked. So three pints it was.
Late to the party I know, but my beer of the week for last week would have to be a joint win between Gulden Draak and Piraat (both by Brouwerij Van Steenberge), two really enjoyable Belgian beers made even better for their absolute bargain price in a box of six Belgian beers from Lidl.
These had to compete against Double Maxim (not new to me, but not had it for a few years), Brew No.34 Dinga Dinga (Rudgate Brewery), Great North Eastern Gold (Great North Eastern Brewing Company) and Perlenbacher Festbier (Lidl).
