My pub of the month for July has to be the Star at Crowlas, Cornwall.
Well kept beer, both their own Penzance brews and guests, and consistantly good too.

My pub of the month for July is The Rake in Borough Market.

I'd always overlooked this place previously because it seems to be permanatly packed and impossible to get to the bar, but it was surprisingly empty when I went past recently, so I gave it a try and was glad I did. I think it would be worth having a session in there just from their bottled beers, as they have such a good range and the staff seem very knowledgeable. The only problem would presumably be the cost of such a session.
