Well that certainly seems like a good idea. Whenever I've been in the Euston Tap, the most common questions I hear at the bar are 'Do you have any cider?' or 'Do you have any fruit beers?' and the answer tends to be that they only have one of each despite a row of 25-30 pumps.
The question is: will it be possible to take beer from one lodge to the other or will our cider drinking friends have to sit on their own on the other side of the road?

London's first Cider Tap opening night confirmed. Friday November 18th at 5pm. Opening cider, wine & beer list to follow soon
Will the ciders be head bursting bottom burning ciders like " Old Rosey" or come in fancy bottles with foriegn unpronounceable names ?
I await the opening of the first motor agency selling tractors and combine harvesters in Oxford Street. Once that rough stuff gets in your blood you can go all agricultural. Oogh Aaargh, Oogh Aaargh.
from your own correspondent out in Ciderland ( Herefordshire ).There's been a big crop of apples this year.
We watched a crop of apples being pressed at the Fleece in Bretforton when they had an ale and cider festival a couple of weeks ago with all sorts of blessings and old fashioned rituals, morris men and mummers. A great afternoon in the sun in their large garden.
Indeed, it was open this evening when I popped in for a quick half of Brook Farm cider from Herefordshire - £3.40/pint at 6.2% - one of three 'still' ciders from those little plastic barrels, with eight of the main ten taps behind the bar offering an interesting variety of keg ciders, a perry and a wheat beer. Quite a few interesting-looking bottles in the fridges too.
Strangely (or not), there was a much bigger crowd over the way at the 'original' Euston Tap...
