Can anyone help us ... possibility of getting on TV or in the paper if you do!

My friend and I are hoping to walk the length of the UK starting from Inverness and ending in Eastbourne to raise money for homeless children in Cambodia. I spent 2 amazing months working with the street children and am keen to raise as much money for them as possible.
During our walk we will be needing places to stay for one or two nights at a time. If we can get just a few people to let us stay for free then any money we have left over at the end of the walk will go towards helping the children. We are also looking for a few places to maybe organise a pub quiz or small charity event.
We will be contacting local newspapers and tv stations during the walk to drum up as much publicity as possible so there is a chance that anyone who helps us could be a part of that.
