Several excellent beers at the GBBF, mostly chosen at random, but finding the cask version of Fuller's London Porter topped the more obscure offerings.

I may have been over critical of Titanic in the past but their Kiwi Fleet (£3.10 in the Derby Alexandra) shows they can still come up with an excellent very hoppy golden ale.

Pig and Porter: Pale Series-Pattern Recognition 4.2%abv. Pale gold.Coarse blackcurrant hops. Sweet malt.Bit of farmyard. Grew on me.Brewed with experimental hop EXP431.

The Mosaic and Captain Oates were the two stand out beers, this week. I hadn't seen the latter, a rich, dark mild for well over a year, so it was a must have. Lovely stuff.
Kronenbourg 1664 against a snatched couple of pints of BOTW Oakham Bishops Farewell. Easy decision.

I cannot think of any beer that stood out last week then I remembered this.Umbrella brewing are a new London brewer who only do ginger beer.There has been some dispute whether this is beer but the bottle I had at London Beer Lab tap said beer brewed with ginger.Superb and I am not a ginger beer fan.

Although drinking a Belgian beer in Malta when there's a local brewery Lord Chambray is a bit naughty.:cheers:
