All **+ scoring beers were consumed in The Cock Tavern, The Southampton Arms and a good trip to The Foxglove; keg beers drunk only where cask wasn't available. :sick: - good beers, but very poor cellarmanship.

BOTW Barshams Golden Close IPA. I've had the odd Barshams beer before but nothing especially inspiring. This was a 5% IPA, not typical with a decent malt base giving sweetness offset by just enough hoppy bitterness. Typical or not, three pints disappeared easily enough.
