A short but delicious list:
Oakham Bishops Farewell*
Byatts Smoke on the Porter*
Byatts Mahana IPA*
Hop Back Summer Lightening*
Really enjoyed the Mahana IPA which is hoppy, fruity, pale and 6% but BOTW goes to Byatts Smoke on the Porter which easily passed the 3 pint test. A lovely, bitter, 4.9% porter from a very reliable, local brewery.
Enjoyed our annual pre-Christmas wander round Skipton, on Saturday. Always a good atmosphere. Heartening to see all the pubs and bars doing brisk trade.
Lancaster - Chinook.*
Seven Brothers - Sunset IPA.*
Saltaire - Titus.
2by2 - Porter.
Wishbone - Tiller Pin.*
Craven Brewing Co - Black Angus Porter.
Wensleydale - Three Lions.
Reedley Hallows - NZ Pale.*
Bingley - Moo Moo.
Some good beers in the list, but the Tiller Pin ( a blend of Citra, Chinook and Cascade) was on fantastic form at The Boathouse Bar.
Baldock,Chiswick,N5 and Rugby
Salopian -- Darwins Origin
Buntingford -- Weathermans Dragon
Titanic -- Plum Porter *
Oakham -- Inferno
York -- Snowflake
Adnams -- Mosaic
Five Points -- Derailed Porter *
Byatt's -- Platinum Blonde *
Byatt's -- Smoke on the Porter *
Everards --Tiger
Settle -- Hoffman Gold
Byatt's -- Mahana IPA * (3PT)
BOTW goes to Byatt's Mahana IPA ,a deceptive 6% and so quaffable it resulted in a 3PT during a very long and quality filled session in The Seven Stars. There was some weaving on my way back to the station.
Next week mainly a crawl around Worcester ,not boat based this time.
