This is why locally the Shropshire Star is known as the Sloppy Star , The Pheasant has been run by Rowton Brewery for the last 12 months(and the link is for the wrong pub) and is a proper pub , the All Nations is as a traditional pub as you can get , Ludlow , Stonehouse and Salopian are all bars attached to the Breweries , Weavers is probally just in Micropub land , not been to the others .
Weavers, Whippet, Pheasant, Ludlow Brewery and the All Nations for me and yes none of them are really micro-pubs except the Whippet, I don't think brewery tap-rooms actually count. Still lazy journalism always needs some some of tenuous hook.
They also missed out the Beer Emporium in Kidderminster, which is a micro-pub.
