'Show closed pubs' tick box behaviour

There is something a bit odd about the tick boxes on the area pages, e.g.

If on first loading the page the 'Show postcodes' or ' Show map points' tick boxes are ticked then the page changes as expected. If however the first tick box to be ticked is the 'Show closed pubs' tick box then nothing happens. If however one of the other tick boxes is ticked beforehand then the 'Show closed pubs' tick box will behave as expected.
