The Falcon
Reopened 3 years ago ,having been saved by the local community and revived as a real ale boozer.
I was quite taken with Thyme at the Tavern
Maybe not the most interesting beer of the month but decent, and a refreshing pub that's making a go of it.
I'm going for something completely different this month and it's this place. It's only open Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. If you're not a fan of Salopian beers then it's obviously one for the AVOID list but they are one of my favourite brewers and it's cheap.
POTM Salopian Brewery Bar
I really enjoyed my visit to Artisan Ales (Old Tap Room) so it's my POTM
The Cuckoo in Toddington, Beds.
I revisited the Half Moon in Herne Hill again last week and had a better look around this time.Should have gave it a 9.Superb.
Looks like it's a draw last month between two Halesowen pubs: the King Edward VII and the Waggon & Horses - not bad for a town of this size.
Two pubs that are no longer in the GBG-https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/10842/ and
The Farmers Arms I'm a bit out of place in a town pub,so my pub of the month is The Anchor,Hartfield.
I stayed at St Davids over 35 years ago and the Farmers was then a Whitbread GBG listed pub. It was the only one I found and on a Saturday night was rammed. As for it being a cracking little City, I did enjoy looking down at the Cathedral but er, that's it really!
Badly late with this POTM- The Blue Boar
This was also very good Broood @ VinQuatre
