Old School:
Oakham-Citra 4.2%abv.At Tap East. My first experience of this brewery for ages.Beer in good nick, but not really to my taste:all grapefruit, not enough malt.
Mighty Oak-Oscar Wilde MILD3.3.7% abv Genuine dark mid.Chocolate and blackberries.
Mighty Oak-IPA3.5%abv decent session bitter-grapefruit again, but spoilt by lack of condition. Both Mighty Oak beers taken at the White Hart, Margaretting Tye.
Shepheard Neame-Late Red4.5%abv.Cloudy, sharp and murksome.
Sheps-Whitstable Bay3.9%abvFine but dull. Both taken at the Ingatestone Bell.
Adnam's- Southwold Bitter3.7%abv.Lacked that wonderful seaweedy tang.
Woodeforde's-Wherry3.8%abv Equable session beer, not as dull as commentators think.
Woodeforde's-Once Bittern4.1%abv. A really tasty best bitter.Rich malt and resinous hops. These three taken at the Earle Arms, Heydon.
After due consideration, my BOTW is Mighty Oak's Oscar Wilde MILD.

Buntingford Hurricane tried in The Baum, just for being a nice, mid brown best bitter.
It didn't pass the 3 pint test as it went off after two. :(
