Monthly Stats: September 2010

Well it is that time of the month again when I traditionally post the previous months stats for the site. Sadly I have only just realised that I forgot to do this in October, so here are the September stats a month late. :muppet:

In September 2010 there were 332,000 visits to the site making it our busiest month ever up from the 275,000 in August and a massive increase on the 127,000 in September 2009. Whilst much of this increase was down to Facebook sending us an awful lot of visitors it was nice to see that our Google traffic was up 50% on last year so things are definitely moving in the right direction.

Activity for the month on the site was:-
3961 photos of 1754 pubs
1735 reviews added of which 885 were virgin reviews
402 new pubs suggested of which 378 were approved and 302 are open
575 map points corrected
579 web links suggested
1170 new users joined
23 beer festivals suggested
190 pubs reported closed
39 pubs reported open

This compares to 2009 when we had:-
8688 photos of 2406 pubs
944 reviews added
278 new pubs suggested
305 map points corrected
149 web links suggested
140 new users joined
44 beer festivals suggested

The forum had 2012 posts, compared to 529 in the same month last year.
