I didn't know it came in any form other than bottled. One of my top ABVs ('alcohol-by-value'...)

Yes, I've not seen McEwans Champion in any other form than bottled either, but apparently there's a canned version too. (I like "alcohol-by-value", more on the nail than my preferred "bangs-per-buck", but too easily confused with something else beginning with ABV!)
So what do you think peeps, continue the Pubs Galore Bar thread or revive this one now that we are more likely to be drinking in someone else's bar?
(somewhat ironically, writing as I sit at home with a bottle of Ascot Brewing Anastasia's Stout), a nicely balanced 5.0 brew with plenty of depth and maltiness, and a good antidote to the latest flood of poncey pine and pineapple p*ss).
Durham - Magus, on the sunny County Durham side of Stockton. Lucifer's Micropub. Picked my table, no pissing about with worse-than-useless masks, served in minutes and a tab opened. Must be assuming I'm here for more than one :)
Trying a Love Lane Berliner Baltic, from the latest Lidl festival, and sadly it is the nastiest thing I have had for some time. I expected it to be a bit tart, but this contrives to be very sour and yet salty at the same time. Given it poured with no head (which the brewery claimed should be heavy and pink), I wonder if it is a duff batch. Anyone else tried this?
Had a couple of bottles of Shep Neame 1698.Decent fruity brown beer.
