Anyone been about in E2 lately,I saw a Farcebook post recently bemoaning the closure of pubs usingAttachment 2794 as an example of The Carpenters Arms, doesn't look great but I'm not sure its actually closed and just has out of hours shutters down? I can't find any info to say either it is or isn't and is still open according to whatpub and google. Obviously Delboy was there last summer,I've not been in or passed by the pub in over a year now.
Google shows that it is rare for a pub in having security shutters, but they are there in July 2014, May 2015, June 2016 and May 2019. However, by July 2022 the graffiti has suddenly arrived and the plants have died; the place doesn't help its cause by not having a website. And just remembering that I have a crumpled London Drinker in my jacket from a couple of nights ago, a check makes no mention of the pub.Quote:

Last check in on Untappd was October so seems likely to have closed
