Another micropub this month, that's three in a row, this time in Southampton and is The Bottle & Stoat.
A very quiet month...but a 5th and a 70th birthday in Leeds gave some options from Good Friday.
The Grove still looks a sorry sight, so it's between Banker's Cat, Scarborough Hotel and The Hop.
The Hop - Leeds. I do like that area south of the station, slightly less well-known but away from the crowds.
Holy shit! I had no idea about that incident at the Grove, was it posted here? What an absolute bastard, and I see that the asbestos company has binned many items, even copper bar and table tops, without reference to the pub, who are (or were) looking for replacement mirrors, memorabilia etc.Quote:
