Woodforde Wherry
Brancaster Wraith*
I enjoyed the Brancaster Wraith, a Halloween special - dark, 5% with winter spices, cloves and cinnamon but BOTW goes to Moongazer Cheeky Jack. Described as Norfolk IPA it tastes more like a well balanced pale to me. Summer fruit and citrus but not overpowering with a dry, moreish finish. No problems with the 3 pint test.
A flying visit to Horbury provided most of this week's drinking.
Fyne - Jarl.*
Nailmaker - Plum Porter.*
Fyne - Avalanche.
Blue Monkey - Primate.
Purple Moose - Penmon.*
Recoil - Obsession.
Acorn - Barnsley Bitter.
Timothy Taylor - Landlord.
Ossett - White Rat.
The Jarl, Plum Porter and Penmon were all in excellent nick, but the Penmon just shaded it. Taken in Boons, Horbury.

Supposedly having a quiet(er) week after Sheffield the previous weekend, not really the case. Partly from nostalgia but still a good beer, BOTW is Dark Star Green Hopped IPA, slightly sweeter than I remember but no less easy drinking, taken in The Harp at the horrendous, as I found out next day, price of £7.50/pint, don't know if they still offer CAMRA discount but I didn't take advantage.
