Quieter week:
Brunswick Station Approach
Everards Thunderbolt*
Oakham Bishops Farewell*
Purity Lawless (keg)
BOTW Everards Thunderbolt. Accurately described as a strong, hoppy, golden ale. At 5.4% it had more than a hint of the IPA about it and slid through the 3 pint test with ease. I'm enjoying some of Everards limited edition beers.
Kent:al fresco.
Cellar Head-India Pale Ale. 5%abv. In a plastic glass, but a juicy, arboreal nectar on a sweltering day.

Preston
Castle Rock - Harvest Pale, in the Guild (not to be confused with the Guild Ale House!)
A crawl around Jericho, Oxford plus some local supping:
Arkell's Tradition (3.4%)
Greene King Level Head IPA (keg) (4.0%)
Titanic Iceberg (4.1%)
Portobello Polari (4.2%)
St Austell Tribute (4.2%)
XT 3 (4.2%)
Beavertown Neck Oil (4.3%) (keg)
Loddon 20 (4.5%)
Animal Chameleon (4.6%)
Animal Fruit Bat (4.6%)
Animal Warbler (4.6%)
Five Points Railway Porter (4.8%)
Pheasantry Dancing Dragonfly (5.0%)
Some variable quality on the Oxford crawl, albeit more good than bad, with two standouts: Titanic's superb Iceberg in tremendous shape at the Old Bookbinders and this week's BOTW: slightly out of season for me, but what the hell – even better than the Iceberg and taken at the Jericho Tavern:
BOTW: Five Points: Railway Porter
Very late on parade, stroll around Greenwich.

Shepherd Neame -- Whitstable Bay Pale
Fullers -- Olivers Island
Five Points -- Railway Porter *
Adnams -- Explorer

Like Komakino BOTW goes to Five Points Railway Porter on very fine form in the unlikely surroundings on the Oyster Catcher.
Next week Crete.
Dark star Outer Haze cost me £6.00 for a pint in The Basketmakers Arms last Saturday, it was ok but not £6.00 good.
