Is is true that they are all Ember Inns?

The Front and the Engineers are not Ember Inns. We go to the Front every time we are in Cornwall and they can have a variety of ales in - not ALL Skinners. It is some time since we did the Engineers, but it was a great pub with an enthusiastic landlady for real ales when we were there in 2006.
Haven't been to the other 2.

Only one tick for me, this time. The Engineers. Since when was Bedfordshire in East Anglia?
All have eluded me so far.
50% - Engineers Arms, Henlow and the Bridge End, Ruabon - both excellent pubs, with the first being one of the finest I've visited...

Not been in any of them ,although I have photographed The Engineers Arms without ever venturing inside:o
I have only been in one of them - The Bridge End at Ruabon (again, not an Ember Inn). This pub was closed down a few years ago as an uneconomical out of town pub. The pubco that ran it said there was no demand for Real Ale in the area.
The McGivern family bought it and turned its fortunes around. There are now usually six ales on tap with a couple of them from the on site McGiverns brewery. It would get my vote showing how the correct management could bring many "dead end" pubs back to life. To date, the only review I have given a perfect 10!

Congratulations to The Bridge End (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/61960/) at Ruabon in winning the "Camra National Pub of the Year for 2011". A superb pub with very welcoming management, and of course, Excellent Ale from their own brewery and chosen guests.:notworthy::drinkup::drinkup::bemer ry:
