Based on Southsea Common & handy, Southsea pubs [sorry Al, could not resist :D] would be Hole in the wall, Apsley House, Barley Mow & White Horse
IF you do not mind keg, then the Clarence Pier (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/65933/) would be ideal viewing spot for real aviation fans
