Apparently Sky are going to be broadcasting a 3D feed of the game (http://www.morningadvertiser.co.uk/news.ma/article/85735?N=598325) to 9 pubs this weekend. Sadly for fears of overcrowding they haven't said which pubs. :moremad:

All we know is that they are based in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh & Dublin. Is anyone planning to try to find one of the nine pubs?!

Ok, hadn't realised they weren't publishing the pubs, that is useless.

Not sure I would want to see it in 3d anyway mind, the mithering with the glasses would put me off.

I've been watching football in 3D, surround sound and no ads virtually every weekend for nearly 35 years. Just a shame I can't do it with a beer anymore.

Paul Ince ran into Arsene Wengers car in the Emirates car park.

Instead of leaving a note he just drove off.

A passerby watching stopped him and asked him why he hadn't left a note.

He said "Oh he'll never see an Incey Dent" :p

I'll get me coat.

Having little or no knowledge of pubs in the areas concerned, I wonder, why those nine pubs?

Bloody hell ROB. Are you still pulling Christmas crackers in Rochdale? That was so sphincter tightening in its awfulness I nearly had a trial run with my new mod powers to delete it! :D

I've seen reports from someone at Sirocco saying that it is not going to be shown there.

The George apparently has a sign saying they are not showing it.

LG are suggesting that it will be shown at a pub on the Avenue in West Ealing (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/towns/west-ealing-w13/greater-london/) - apparently it is Draytons (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/65028/), but the screening is not open to the public :moremad:

There is also now a rumour of the White Lion in WC2 (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/53781/)

Football game in 3D on TV?! No thanks! I would happily to watch football game in real thing especially Tamworth..

I think it is overhyped and aimed at two of the most famous football club in UK. Even if they show Tamworth match in 3D on TV, I stil wouldn'tl watch it...

So you're a Tammy fan then. Alty fan here, although London based these days. I agree totally re TV football, give me a wet and rainy open non league terrace any day, provided Bovril/Oxo available.

Cheers

Tammie fan actually (althrough you can say Tammy if you comes from outside Tamworth :D)

Oh yeah I much rather to stand in open terrance than watch TV. It is just not on, watching your team on TV despite your team playing at home..

Your team made smash and raid at our home game last Nov. Two goals in last 10 mins.. :moremad::moremad::moremad:

Lucky Alty I must add!

Oh sorry How rude I am.. Welcome to PG forum fella! Hope you enjoy your time here!

Cheers Hoppy, Tammy/Tammie.....better than some call it on Confguide. Perhaps we'll meet one day, an away game too far often but looking good on the beer front.....might combine it with Derby as I'd booked up to go there last August and had to cancel due to being ill.

Cheers

Confguide/Confforum, the most recent incarnation. Not my favourite place either pal, too much cliqueiness there. Never get a straight answer or response to a comment.

Who are you on there Hoppy or is that a question too far? I rarely post but read. I'm SW.
